Coronation Community Awards

These awards contribute to developing community spirit and help to promote activities that Rothbury Parish Council consider important for the physical and mental well-being of our parishioners.

Awards are given for an outstanding contribution, performance or commitment to Rothbury.  All awards are to recognise those individuals and groups that have made and are making a positive contribution to community life, and are showing leadership, initiative or commitment in our parish.

Get round for a pound is a campaign to promote the new bus fare for young people – it means everyone aged 21 and under  will be able to take a single bus journey for a flat fare of just £1.

Next Parish Council Meeting

The next meeting of Rothbury Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 12th July 2023 commencing 7pm in the Dovecote Room, Jubilee Institute.  A Public question session will be held from 645 to 7pm.

KING’S CORONATION EVENTS
To mark the King’s Coronation, Rothbury Parish Council have adopted a Coronation Community Awards Policy, please see below.
The pipe band are to be in the village centre on Sunday 7th May and the Parish Council are to host a community picnic (bring your own refreshments) at the Armstrong Cross village green from 2pm.
